Evaluation kit

Put DuraRad on your bench first.

DuraRad is a protective inner-wall coating for radiopharmaceutical vials. This evaluation kit lets your team run it against your own drug product, with your own methods, on your own timeline. Supply is limited and hand-made, so we reserve it for the teams that move first.

Research-use-only, non-GMP prototype vials. Hand-made, may not be sterile, not for human or clinical use. Kit is 24 coated plus 24 matched control empty vials, a batch test report, and an experimental-design brochure. You supply the drug product. No radioactive material is shipped.

What's in the box

A real kit, thoughtfully built for a real experiment.

Each kit ships as a designed carton with everything a formulation team needs to set up a clean, controlled comparison.

What's in the DuraRad evaluation kit An illustration of the evaluation kit contents laid out inside a shipping carton: a tray holding a row of 4 DuraRad-coated vials, whose inner wall carries a teal sol-gel coating, beside a matched row of 4 uncoated control vials drawn identically but clear. To the right sit a batch test report, shown as a document with abstract ruled lines, and a folded suggested-study-design brochure. The vials ship empty. • Pharmaceutical glass vials whose inner wall carries the DuraRad sol-gel coating with immobilized catalase and manganese superoxide dismutase. Available in 6R and 10R formats, each with a FluroTec-coated butyl rubber stopper and an aluminum overseal with a flip-off cap.

  • The same glass, stopper, and seal, uncoated and identical across the coated and control arms, so your comparison isolates the coating. A matched control set makes experimental setup straightforward.

  • Batch-specific cold-test enzyme-activity results for the coated vials in your kit, so you know what you received before you begin.

  • A suggested design for a feasibility and benefit study, from the comparison arms to the endpoints worth reading, including recovery and residual activity in the vial, so your team can start from a sound protocol.

Choose 6R or 10R to match your program. Vials ship empty; we confirm the format and fill volume fit before we allocate, so the coated wall is wetted for a valid coated-versus-control comparison.

What you're buying

Please read this before you reserve.

DuraRad evaluation kits are research-use-only prototypes for evaluating our protective vial coating with your own drug product, in your own lab.

  • These vials are hand-made in small batches, using aseptic technique in an ISO 5 laminar-airflow hood. It is a manual process that is not qualified for sterility, so the vials may not be sterile and we make no sterility claim.
  • They are non-GMP prototypes, not finished products, and are not for human, animal, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or manufacturing use.
  • DuraRad is pre-commercial and not yet validated under live irradiation. The included batch test report covers enzyme activity under cold, non-irradiated test conditions only, and is not a performance guarantee.
  • They are representative of the expected commercial coating for enzyme-activity and leachables evaluation. The sol-gel uses multi-compendial excipients and reagents, and the highest available purity for the silane precursors.

You fill the vials with your own drug product. No radioactive material is shipped. The full terms are in the DuraRad Evaluation Kit Agreement, which accompanies your kit details.

What it's for

Answer the only question that matters for your product: does it help yours?

The cold-bench measurement is the measured input behind every modeled curve on this site, and the radioactive validation study will test whether it holds under live decay. But the question a formulation team ultimately needs answered is narrower and more specific: what does the coating do for this drug product, in this formulation, over this shelf life. That is a question only your bench can answer, with your analytical methods.

The evaluation kit exists so you can answer it directly. Fill the coated vials and the matched controls with your product, run your own stability and quality methods side by side, and read the difference in your own data.

Your product, your methods

Run the analytics you already trust on your own drug product and on what is in your fill, including leachables, extractables, enzyme activity, and recovery and residual activity in the vial.

A clean comparison

Matched coated and uncoated vials from the same components isolate the coating so the result is attributable, not confounded.

No new dependencies

No radioactive material is shipped and nothing about the kit changes your fill process. You evaluate on your own timeline.

Two ways in

Just try it, or partner with us.

Most teams want to try DuraRad with no strings attached. Some want to go further and help shape it. Both are welcome, and they are deliberately kept separate.

No strings

Evaluation kit

Reserve a kit, run your own evaluation, and keep all of your data. The agreement is lightweight and friendly: it protects our not-yet-commercialized coating from reverse engineering, and asks nothing of your results. You owe us no data and no feedback.

Governed by the DuraRad Evaluation Kit Agreement, provided with your details.

Collaborate

Development partnership (MTA)

For teams who want to actively collaborate and share evaluation data back with us to help develop DuraRad for their class of product. This runs under a material transfer agreement and a closer working relationship.

Why reserve now

The first kits go to the teams that move first.

DuraRad is still made by hand, in small batches, so the earliest supply is genuinely scarce. As we scale up we expect to open access more broadly, but the first kits are reserved for teams that reserve early.

The advantage of moving first is an earlier answer: what the coating does for your product, in time to inform your container-closure decision and your own program timeline.

Hand-made, small batches

Coated in limited numbers per batch. Early supply is prioritized to the teams that reserve first.

An earlier answer

Run your own feasibility and benefit study sooner, and fold the result into your container-closure decision on your own timeline.

Lead time

We cannot promise shipment earlier than Q1 2027, though fulfillment may begin as early as Q4 2026. Reserving now holds your place.

How it works

From reservation to your bench.

Reserving is lightweight by design: easy to say yes to, and still protective of the technology. Here is the whole path.

  1. Reserve Tell us your program
  2. Review the terms Lightweight, RUO
  3. Confirm your place No payment now
  4. Hand-made Coated in small batches
  5. Shipped overnight At controlled room temp
Illustrative. We confirm each allocation personally; reserving holds your place at no charge.

Reserve

Reserve your evaluation kit

Tell us who you are and what you want to evaluate. Reserving holds your place at no charge: we confirm every allocation personally, and no payment is due until we confirm your batch.

Up to 3 per customer. Need more? Mention it below and we will arrange it directly.

The agreement that governs the kit is sent with your details, for review before anything is due.

By reserving, you agree to how we handle your details. See our Privacy Policy.

Other ways to engage

Running diligence, or weighing a partnership?
